Kenwood Education introduces vetted tutors to families across North London. You set your own rate, choose the work you take on, and we handle the admin — matching, invoicing, and payment — so you can focus on teaching.
We accept just 1 in 18 applicants. Every tutor on our roster is either Oxbridge or Russell Group educated with a strong academic track record, or brings genuine, extensive teaching experience — some as qualified teachers, heads of department, or examiners.
We're looking for tutors who are either Oxbridge or Russell Group educated, or who bring a genuine, proven track record of teaching or tutoring success.
We only work with tutors local to the areas we serve — Highgate, Muswell Hill, Crouch End, East Finchley and surrounding North London.
Patient, encouraging, and able to adapt to how a particular student learns best — not just deep subject knowledge, but the ability to bring it to life.

You decide your hourly rate. We add a margin when invoicing the family — what you charge is exactly what you receive. Our Fee Guidance document offers suggested rates based on experience, but the final number is always your choice.
Matching, invoicing, and payment collection all run through TutorCruncher. Funds split automatically the moment a family pays — no chasing invoices yourself.
You're never obliged to accept a match, and we're not obliged to offer a fixed amount of work. Most of our tutors work with other agencies or private students alongside Kenwood.
Kenwood is a Corporate Member of The Tutors' Association. We're responsive, and you're never navigating a placement alone.

We'll assess your experience, approach, and suitability to work with children, and talk through how Kenwood works day to day.
If it's a good fit, we'll send you our onboarding form to complete. We'll verify both references, and confirm your enhanced DBS check — or apply on your behalf if you don't already hold one.
Once approved, we'll contact you directly whenever a family looks like a good fit for your subjects, level, and location.
